Mr. Roberts began his artistic endeavors a little over 25 years ago at the University of Connecticut, where he entertained a self-study course in photography. After a decade of learning his way around the camera and traveling through the Caribbean, Europe, Australia, India and North America, he has amassed a stunning landscape portfolio.

In the mid-nineties, he discovered the world of digital art, and his artistic horizons expanded exponentially. His photographic background provided a solid artistic base for the exploration of virtual imagery. Finally he had discovered a medium where he could unleash his fervent imagination. Mr. Roberts, being a child of the twentieth century, has a profound love of science fiction, fantasy and tales of mystery and imagination. It is no wonder that a majority of his work plays with these various themes. He is also known to have a peculiar sense of humor which often finds its way into his final renderings.

Taking advantage of his newly learned technical skills, Mr. Roberts has also produced a seventeen-minute animation entitled "The Seed". His production has played across the country at a number of film festivals and has been well received.

Only within the past few years, Mr. Roberts has embarked on yet another sojourn into the world of artistic expression. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, he has added sculpture as another medium for expressing his vision. Once again his works are heavily influenced by speculative genre. It should also be noted that a bit of political commentary and wry humor have also found their way into his three dimensional musings.
