How to Join

Swift Waters, a member-owned retail cooperative gallery, is located at 866 Main Street, Willimantic, CT. We are run entirely by our members. We have no paid staff. Members work 8 hr/month in the store and pay monthly dues in exchange for a low commission rate. Swift Waters is a truly cooperative enterprise. Members manage and staff the retail store, arrange the displays, plan events, do our bookkeeping, coordinate the website, clean, paint. You name it, we do it together and try to have fun while we do.

The first step in becoming a member is having your work juried, so we will want to see your portfolio, pictures, and/or samples of your work. All art forms are welcome but must be made by the artist. The strength of our co-op is its diversity of art forms. We may love your work, but it may not fit our needs at the time. If that is the case, your information will be kept on file for future consideration.
